What else can I say about this CCPY Breakfast than WOW!?
Actually... a little bit more (and do realize I do not have an attention to detail, so for me to notice "a little bit more" is a WOW in itself!):
- What a great choice of facility... in the neighborhood and so well appointed with great parking
- What a great welcoming committee, from the energetic greeter at the driveway in darkness, to the "lady in pink", to the reception folks welcoming the walk into the room, to "ask me about my goals" (brilliant move, with only regret that there was so much noise/energy in the networking that the more timid of our kids had trouble raising their voices above the cacophony!)
- Great decoration, great food and great coordination of presenters/emcee
- Even better than great was the messaging from the top shelf who we are video, to our funding strategy to date, to the ROI on our services, to the shifting need for new strategies to resource the great work being done, and the beauty of the many messengers... including the young lady's revelation that what she does touches others and what we do touches her; one of my guests leaned over and said It took him 60 years of to land on these insights to life.”
- Go Jet Blue... It will be the first airlines I check for future travel... Stacy, what a gift- the 2-round trip tickets did create a buzz and I am so happy that the recipients of the air tickets and Randy Hahn’s Shark's guest passes were mentors as they confirmed the story that age is not a factor in being a mentor.
- But most of all I appreciated the hospitality extended by the CCPY kids; greater than better than great! They decorated, were the first to greet and the last to be at the door saying thank you, they told their stories at the mic and at the tables, they enthusiastically sold the raffle tickets, and they waited until everyone had eaten and were leaving before they filled their plates and enjoyed the aftermath!
I know that many have been WOWed for years by the accomplishments of CCPY, but I just want to express how privileged I feel to be a part of your team and a small part of the organization's success.
Thank you...Mike
